This online press kit may eventually be integrated into the Storytellers: Athens site, but for the moment it is functioning as a stand-alone site. I need to do some additional layout tweaking, but I’ve been working on the Press Kit website as a complement to the paper version of the press kit.

This week we perfected and finalized our press packet. We also ran through a test meeting with Clate on Thursday on potential questions and answers for potential talent. If all continues to go as planned, we hope to make contact early next week with talent to begin scheduling arrangements for recording sessions.

I’ve spent several hours this weekend working on the website. I’ve created some mockups, and posted them up on the site.

In order to move forward with the design process, we went with the title of “Storytellers: Athens,” which may or may not be our final choice. Here is a frontpage mockup:

I’m pretty unsatisfied with the header, but I’m sure I’ll be able to clean it up and improve it in the upcoming weeks.

I decided to choose the dining guide for an individual tour mockup. I’m still debating on exactly what to fill the left column with, whether it be mp3 download information, podcast background information, or links to other content on the site.

Tomorrow at 2:00pm we’ll be meeting Ethiel Garlington of the Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau to discuss project ideas, demographics, and other project guidelines.
